Whether lucky enough to be visiting Brazil and getting to watch any of the Olympic events live or enjoying watching the games in the UK in this wonderful weather we are currently having, you can’t help but be inspired by these amazing athletes. We have heard a lot about the legacy of the Olympics and whether that may be motivating you to pull on your trainers and get to the gym, take on an extra fitness class or even considering a diet overhaul, you really can appreciate the positive effect that the Olympics has on us all.

It goes without saying that our Galor chefs can cater for any of your dietary requirements when you hire them for any of your social events, whether low carb, low fat, gluten free etc. So for that special occasion when you want to treat your guests to a wonderfully decadent meal, without breaking any healthy eating guidelines you are following, we can still ensure that your menu has that wow factor. Tip:

If the sport really isn’t to your liking, you can still get involved with the Brazilian influence by allowing it to inspire your cooking. You can transform any steak with the addition of a Chimichurri sauce. This fresh South American herb sauce will pep up any meal it is added to.

  • Pack of coriander, finely chopped
  • Pack of flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 green chilli, deseeded and finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil.
  • Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Season to taste.
