We seek a highly experienced, dynamic, and energetic Private Chef passionate about health and nutrition-focused cooking to join a small, vibrant team in a nature-led town in Ohio, USA. This is a unique opportunity to lead a health-conscious kitchen committed to crafting exceptional meals to the highest standards for a discerning client. Working closely with on-site farm and local purveyors, emphasize using the freshest ingredients to create menus that promote well-being and vitality.


The chef will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of nutrition and its application in culinary arts.· Exhibit mastery in Mediterranean, Japanese, South Asian, and Southeast Asian cuisines and flavors.· Apply health and nutrition-focused practices and techniques to cooking. Comprehensive knowledge of dietary preferences, restrictions, and health-conscious techniques.


Create innovative, health-conscious menus emphasizing fresh, seasonal, locally sourced, and grown ingredients.· Design recipes tailored to specific dietary preferences, including vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free focuses.· Ability to pivot and take feedback well. Planned meals may change at the last moment, so someone who can pivot and seamlessly shift from one menu to another.· Proven ability to adapt menus to regional preferences while maintaining a health-focused approach.


Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.· Adhere to strict food safety protocols, ensuring all aspects of food preparation, storage, and service exceed regulatory requirements.· Demonstrate meticulous attention to cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils, fostering a sanitary and organized workspace.


Manage ordering and inventory administration and liaise with local suppliers.· Strong appreciation for seasonal, locally sourced, and homegrown produce. Collaboration with Garden Team:· Work closely with the in-house garden team to plan and execute harvest schedules.· Incorporate harvested produce creatively to highlight its flavors and nutritional benefits.


Willingness to travel to the principal’s other residences in the USA approximately 2-3 times a year.· The job entails long days and travel with the family. Expect to be away from home, a minimum, three months out of the year.


8:30am-7:00pm, 5 days a week

Salary Range: USD 120K – 150K DOE

Start : ASAP


Qualifications·

10+ years of proven experience as a Chef, with at least some years spent in private estates or high-end residential kitchen environments.· Expertise in healthy, nutrition-focused cooking and Up-to-date with the latest trends in health and nutrition.

Flexibility and humility are important.

Exceptional ability to develop creative dishes showcasing the natural flavors of ingredients.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Empathetic mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

Proven ability to adapt menus to regional preferences while maintaining a health-focused approach.

Listening skills. This chef must be able to listen carefully for the preferences of the principals and incorporate them into the meal planning.·

Flexible schedule: able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends depending on clients’ needs.

A high level of discretion is a must.

Able to sign and adhere to confidentiality agreements and pass a background check.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, withstand repeated motions, and lift up to 30 lbs.
